ive narrowd it down to 3 so which would you prefer/choose
ignore the price on this one its only £77 instore

or slightly more in price and a known name

I think they're all good but personally if it was my choice I would go for the Fuji for £100 although I am drawn to the other Fuji for £135 for its better zoom. Saying all that though I would be more than happy with the GE X5 for £77 so I hope I cleared that up for you

The spec on the Fujis are better & I am always drawn to spec so I'd go for the £100 one and a 8GB card for plenty of storage. The £135 model is slightly better but unless you're David Bailey I don't think you would notice the difference.

Might be worth keeping an eye on this one...

If you're serious about photography I'd probably skip the bridge and go for a good condition entry level D-SLR - something like a Nikon D40 or Canon 350D, I use the latter.

But I also once had a bridge - a Fuji S5600 and it was a brilliant camera. Its years old now but still fetches a high price on Ebay.

As for Ebay, just do a localised search within 20 miles - that way you can go and take a look at it, and know that you can bid a bit extra because you'll be saving on postage costs.

I pay for everything on eBay with PayPal and that way I am covered if there are any issues.

I bought a Nikon D40X from ebay a year ago. The guy had receipts for over £850 and i paid £305 with delivery. Its fantastic and included zoom lenses bag and cleaning gear , external flash etc and boxed as new. It was recommended to me by a professional photographer so after reading the online reviews i thought id take the plunge and very glad i did

thats the point im not THAT serious about it, at least not yet, Mrs T prefers to buy presents from a shop so if theres an issue she knows where to take it back to

Default Pentax X90

Have you looked at the Pentax X90?

Not sure if it's a bit too pricey for what your looking at but my Step mother has one and it takes some really stunning photo's. It's definately the one i'll be getting when I have the spare cash.

The cheapest I have seen it is on these sites at £225
