Hi all, i have a 86 Peugeot 505 sedan 2.5 TD (XD3T engine North American type), i live in Seattle having come from England. Can anyone tell me if i can put brand new diesel injector nozzles straight into the injector bodies, assemble them and put them straight into the engine without having them checked by a 'specialist' ie pop test, calibrate or whatever, assuming that because they are brand new and straight out the box they should already be set if you put them back in the injector bodies with the same washers that they came out with? Anybody ever heard of 'Micheline' nozzles made in France please?--Thanks--Jerro

Thanks Dan, i'll take that as a 'No'!, appreciate the answer as i really didn't want to have a 'technician' charge a whole bunch of money that i don't really have having had to buy the nozzles at 25 quid each, thanks again.

the pressures need to be set up professionally on the right equipment and the spray pattern set or you'll never get it running. I doubt you'd even be able to get it close by doing it yourself and it's quite involved
