Is it OK to use the halogen bulbs as a replacement for normal bulbs. or do they need special fittings.

What do you mean halogen bulbs for normal bulbs? Headlights? Headlight bulbs are halogen bulbs unless you have special headlights.

Nah, they just pop straight in. Those stupidly bright illegal 100W ones do anyway! Its the HID ones which are special I think.
