New 508SW

A wee bit dissapointed with the look of the new 508 SW....

Too much like a Honda / Laguna mix here? The 407SW has it"s own shape, sleek, with loads of "I"m different from the rest" about it.

Can"t see me wanting one.

Any thoughts folks??

Have to agree - all new cars are starting to look the same.

I'll be getting myself an MG ZT next year - I do like the more 'classical' jag shape. The new jags just look like any other car nowadays.

MG ZT 135 with beemer engine - can't beat it.

TBH, if I my needs dictated a large estate load lugger then it's looks wouldn't be an issue, so long as it wasn't absolutely gopping. However, if practicality were lower down the list I'd buy the saloon or a coupe anyway.

I don't think it looks so bad. Certaainly nice than the odd looking Laguna, or the overly fussy V70, or the anodyne Passat.

So long as a car isn't as ugly as a Ssang Yong then I'm not overly fussed. I bought the 3008 cos it was the most incredbly efficient all round family car I'd every driven. The fact that it's so plain to be almost invisible doen't rate a second thought.

The only time it would really worry me was if I were buying a coupe, which people buy specifically for their looks anyway.

In any case, of the people criticising it I doubt that many have the £22k to buy the SW in the first place.
