Hello all,
Got a nice suprise when I went to replace my main beam bulb on my 407 ( 2004 ) to find the bulb had welded into the socket. I went to a spare parts place ( not peugeot ) to see if I could just replace the socket for the bulb. His reply was i need a new headlight unit which we all know would not be the case. I just want to replace the socket and rewire it in. Can anybody advise on my best option/ where to get a socket for my bulb as I`ve tried to remove the bulb but it looks as though its there to stay. Cheers Shabba00 |

How has it managed to 'weld' itself in? From memory, its only held in with the clip?
