Default Magnetic Fuel Saver

Has anyone ever fitted one of these magnetic fuel saver devices to their fuel line? Apparently, by magnetising the fuel it becomes more aligned, atoms repel one another, and you get a cleaner more efficient burn, thus increased mpg... all very techy stuff

They are a couple of quid on Fleabay, and some people say they work, but I'm sceptical as to whether they really do make a difference.

Anybody had one or got one that can offer their opinion either way?

You're as sceptical as me then

Apparently they do them for the gas pipe on your boiler too and helps with the burn there too.... it all sounds too cheap, and too easy.

this one is nearly as good as my dad sending me to the shops to get some pigeons milk , if it was this easy car manufactures would use it to get the fuel consumtion down, they spend millions on development I dont think this would of slipped the net

I've been tempted to buy one of those oil filter magnets - the ones that clamp onto the filter and hold onto any metal particles until the filter is changed.

I've also been tempted by those magnetic sump plugs.

Anyone tried either of these?

I can resist anything except temptation.

Makes sense... and most the arguments for why they save fuel were the ones I was told last night and read earlier today
