Default Locking Wheel Nut Key

My locking wheel nut has broken (some of the pins have come off inside) and I need to get a new one - is this possible?

I've been in touch with a local Peugeot dealer and they said they can't replace the actual locking wheel nut. Instead they want to charge me £80 plus VAT for forcing the wheel nuts off and then a further £32 plus VAT for a new set.

Can I get a key to replace my broken one? Or would it be better trying to find a mechanic to force them off for less money, and then buying a new set myself?

Thanks!

Ask your dealer how much order new locking nut and the code for it , i can get the code for £5 if they want to much ,
or you can get locking nuts removed by a garage but run the risk of damaging your alloy.

Tell whoever does your tyres or brakes not to use airtools on them, then they don't break.

Not always the case chopper. mine broke with a wheel brace....i got the local garage to put an oversize socket on them and drop a bit of weld in.(obviously an old socket as after its fooked).......then just put an extension on the socket and hey presto they came off with no damage to the wheel....

They are very good, I have a set of Irwin nut removers. I have never failed with them if you can get the socket over the existing nut, some wheel recesses are very deep and narrow around the wheel nuts.
