I am puzzled why would you want to ?

My Iphone fits into a dedicated brodit pro clip bracket alongside the radio. It's tidy, easy to see, easy to use (even on sat nav) and the power lead is not running half way round the car so's it gets in the way .....

Lol, I have mine mounted on a brodit clip beside the radio with my charger tidily going through the airvent. Looks great but its interfering with my radio terribly even when a call isnt coming through. When driving my right arm is always rested along the door card so looks like a good place to mount it as it will be in easy reach to use it (away from radio)

i hate it when a mobile interfeers with the radio that dat.dat.dat.deer noise!

Can the brodit clip attach to the drivers side air vent?

if you want to mount it to the A-pillar, you might have to screw/glue a mount to the pillar...i havnt seen any clip/attachments of this type...if i find out ill give you a shout

Had one of those air vent mounts before, sold it the day I got it. Ugly looking in my opinion.

Air vent mounts are generally pretty shite, even if they hold they generally end up wrecking the vent itself. I replaced two vents cos of that.

The only other option I can think of is using a screen suction mount Daffy.

I have two phones in my Beemer, one on a brodit mount on the dash, the other sits in the r/h bottom corner of the screen using a Tesco adjustable universal suction mount.

That has never moved or been a problem in the last 18 months and probably 50K miles..It was the same in my Accord before I got the BM

It'd do what you are looking for.

THIS is the boy, just bend the arm about to get the phone where you want it

If you seat the bottom of the holder onto the dash - it doesn't wobble about or vibrate.
