Installing Aftermarket Alarms

Has anyone attempted to install an aftermarket hardwired alarm in a peugeot 307 hdi, are the door actuators controlled via the cam bus etc system or are they the traditional rest on negative rise to 12volt per movement system. I have been given conflicting reponses from both peugeot and aftermarket dealers, personally i don't trust aftermarket installers on a 42,000 dollar vehicle. I have installed a upgrade alarm before so I intend to keep my existing remote and just slightly tap into the wiring system with out cutting anything.
