after 450 spent in the garage and 4 trips there, the cars had a full service prticulate filter sensor, new pipes, filter taken off and proffessionally cleaned, all faults re set etc,
driven it 30 miles and unblock filter is back on, i just cant believe it i could judt set fire to this thing! i just cant bring myself to put a new filter on at another 150 quid only to have it cock up again in 30 miles time! why on earth do people rate these cars. i'm off to buy a bleeding gas guzzler! cheaper to run |

Would removing DPF not be an option for you , put a straight pipe in and sell your filter and eloys fluid.

thats another 250 to spend for a chap to come and do that for me and set ecu up correctly, and with the rough starting in the morning and tappy top end its jsut not worth spending out on for it to cock up later.
really pee'd off as though i was getting somewhere with it. |

Yeah, that sort of thing is really off-pissing. Is it giving all the symptoms of a blocked filter, or is it just saying the filter's blocked?

Have you tried a forced regen? Disconnected MAF Sensor : that might help if needed.

betty was done in a french specialist garage mate so guess when car came back fault free with regards to the fap it was all done as it should,
as for forced regen, i've done this everytime i've had it back, nothing doing i've kept it at 3ooo rpm for 10 mins straight with no effect, so lost now as to whats going on. think it must need a coupe of new injectors as thats all i can think of as to why its miss firing and smoking on cold starts, and top end rattle i dont even want to go there lol i'd go over book price for all the repairs and there not even a sure bet |

168 for dpf to my door 77 for 4 second hand injoctors 20 for temp sensor 21 for 4 new glow plugs 64 cambelt kit 22 water pump 12 alt belt i have no idea what else but then into garage to go on computers etc 20+ cars crap on fuel to its done 210 miles and its used just under 3 quarters of a tank and have spent 450 already, if its not fixed then thats the spend up to 1900 which is more than a broken 307 is worth even if its near mint and very low miles Last edited by rapidshed; 07-17-2011 at 04:09 PM.
