How far will my Peugeot go on the fuel light?

Hey guys,

I have a Y reg Peugeot 206 1.1 petrol with a 40 litre tank.

I was wondering how far it will go with the fuel warning light on?

I put £10 in yesterday and it went up to the quarter full mark. Have since done 47 miles and the light is on.

my 1.4 hdi does what i think is roughly £10 = 100 miles so will be interesting to see other answers.
