xp is the correct way, you dont mozilla. when you connect to the car, you are then presented with 3 or 4 options.

top one is "diag" which you cannot use as you dont have a server log on (only real dealerships have these). using this without a logon will cause this error.

the second one is planet or office, this is the one that you need to use (its the second one down)

then you have the other 1 or 2, being measurement and something else

sorry if this is slightly inaccurate, im doing it from memory.

does this sound familiar?

hope it helps tho

Hi thanks you are spot on it was the second one down that causes the mozilla .exe report
Do you think it could be a software fault ie like a faulty disc
thanks again Don

if your getting an error on the 2nd one down, sounds like it was a bad activation or worse crap install.

give the activation a go again, it took me a few attempts to understand how to do it.

if that fails try an uninstall and reintall, rebooting after each.

if that fails post back on here and will try more stuff

Make sure and fill in all the details when it asks for postcode , techs name , address of buisness and so on (make details up it doesn`t matter) think this could be your problem maybe you left it blank.
