Default Help with petrol cap on 205???

Hi there, have been browsing and reading for a while. Was just wandering if anyone could help me. I have been doing maintenance on my 205 CJ and have run the engine alot. I keep the doors unlocked but the petrol cap must be closed. Today I accidentally snapped the tip of my door key off. (i have a different lock for my ignition).

I need to get some petrol into it so that i can start it, are there any ideas/methods of opening the petrol cap that hopefully wont result in me buying a new one???

Thanks

J

If the locks are like ford locks, there is a key code on the door lock. On fords you need to remove the lock from the drivers door to find the code. Give the code to a dealer and they can get a new key made to that code.

Not sure if the 205 is the same, maybe worth a quick look.

Cheers, I will have a look around and dig out some other info to see if i can get another set of keys, otherwise will have to look at changing all the locks :/
