Hi can anyone help
I have a Partner 1.6hdi CAR and I have a leaky sump. What I need to know is can you remove the sump easily or does its removal involve taking of lots of other stuff ? Also - resealing does it have a gasket or is it silicone (or both). Many thanks in advance |

Here's a picture of the sump. Note there is no gasket showing. I can't help with what, or what not might have to be removed.

jack it up and they are easy to remove but it is a dirty job obviously. If memory serves a dozen or so bolts 11mm I think) and may need a bit of a tap with a rubber hammer to seperate the two halves.
All I did was remove the old sealant add some black silicon sealant all around the rim and re instate. Has not lost a drop since. Takes about 30 mins. |
