Default HELP! Alloy wheel key!

Hi! Guys.
Just started to do the ball joint and drop links on my 307. Have gone to take the wheel off and the alloy wheel key has slipped and appears to be rounding the wheel stud. On closer examination one of the lugs has broken off the alloy wheel key (most likely the monkeys that put the tyres on last year)
What do I do????
Phil

Default Remover

You can get a locking wheel nut remover.
Basically a socket with a reverse thread inside it.
As you turn the socket on to the locking nut the threat bites on it and eventually off it comes.

Thanks for that!
I am told you really need a "windy" gun to use those tools!
And at the end of the day I still have three other wheels with the same lock nuts. I am wondering about getting it taken off at a garage and then replacing all the lockers for normal. I don't think anyone steals Peugeot alloys anyway

NO! That's the problem. I have made a repair on the key and tried it on the other wheels. Works fine! The trouble is this particular lock stud has now got chewed up. It needs more than the key to remove it!

they should work yes.......
how they work is they have a reverse/left-hand thread inside the socket,so the more the socket tightens the better the grip it gets, it worked perfectly for me when my sons mate had lost his key and they had tried drilling and welding and god knows what else

youth of today cant even get a set of alloys off there own car, let alone anyone else's
