Smile help ...307 multifunction display unit

hi there can any help me ....ive got a peugeot 307 and the multifunction display unit is dim...........is there a way to make it brighter and also is there bulbs in it that may have gone and can they be changed ....you can see it but its really dim... many many thanks

Not sure if there is a brightness adjustment on the 307 - someone else confirm?

I do believe there are little bulbs in behind it though.

Pull it upwards and it will come out , not to hard theres a cable on it , three bulbs in the back , replace them.

Betty's 100% right. Hold your hand flat parallel to the windscreen. Gently strike the display plastic with the palm of your hand directly towards the windscreen.

If you've got fat fingers then some needle nosed pliers will be a godsend. Grip the bulb and give it a gentle 90 degree twist to remove.

They're about £1.12 from Peugeot, my advice is to replace all three. I had one fail, bought a new bulb and it was brighter than the other two - not too noticeably but enough for OCD me!

You can also replace with white flat top LEDs. Brighter and they last longer.
