Hiya all.

Just registered here as my OH has just bought a MY06 307. It's just the 1.4 's' model (90ps?) due to insurance limitations, but will be her second car. The car has just had a full service and MOT.

Is there any common faults we should be aware of with these vehicles? Not really expecting anything yet, as the mileage is still well shy of 40k. Obviously brakes etc... are expected, but nothing major.

Also what are the cambelt intervals on these? I'm assuming it won't have been done yet, so would like to get it done according to the schedules. Although it does have a FPSH.

Any help, pointers or general look outs are greatly received!

Hmm, mine have all been diesels so I wouldn't really be able to help you, except from you're free from some nasty problems that diesels come with!!

But yeah, 40k is pretty much where most things are as they left the factory (clutch, cambelt, everything else except brakes..)

That's all I know really, but this post should bump the thread for others to help you out
