Default Heating Issue..

Hi,
I have a 2007 (sept 57 plate) 407 which i bought in March 2010. I have a problem with my heating system whereby it only blows warm air (that will be fine in the winter but these last few days have been murder!!) Is it something to do with the AirCon or a seperate fault and is it something i can fix without an expensive garage bill?
thanks for reading this entry
Derrick

If its the flap broken, then its a big job and very expensive at the dealer.
Is yours dual zone?
Is it cold one side and hot the other?

If it isn't the above it might just need aircon regassing.

do you know how much the regassing would cost? I presume the dealer option would be well expensive?

cheers

My dealer charged £49.99 for a leak test and regas... hardly any different to the Kwik Fits

Ah that'll be Hartwell's. I had to have some work done there when on hols last year (warranty work mind).... and the stupid thing about them, they still ring me up to book my car in for MOT, and then ring up to book it in for service, despite living in Cornwall..... 400 miles away (and they have the address too).... just shows me how professional they are!

Taking you for a ride there to with that price.
