got my first parking ticket!

well here i am, making you lot laugh and say "only john can" im so going to get a t-shirt that says that.

so my mates persuade me to go swimming in darlington dolphin centre. so i park in the car park that used to be the old arriva depot (talk about irony). so i goes to pay for a ticket and my mate goes its a sunday you dont pay on a sunday...

well the bar steward was wrong.

went swimming, came back, got in the car and found the ticket under my wiper.

its only £25 so im not fussed...plus i reckon the attendant should get a new job in photography, saved my time of taking photos

I always thought most parking was free on Sundays too, having said that where I live we have got that Permit Parking, this is active between 8am-9pm.

The other night I was on the fronts talking to my next door nieghbour and a white Ford Fiesta van thing came past, Traffic Wardens inside it,

They stopped half way down the road, jumped out and you could see the flash of the camera going and they had booked some body down the road who was visiting. the thing is this was 8.45pm and they were still driving around.

Can see the car park so terribly busy, you'd think they have better things to do!

There shit hot in Darlo for parking john, thought you'd have known that. They're always on my case about 'no loading' there and you cant dump your van there etc. One of those private wardens is quite a fit bird, blonde size 10, nice arse, dont mind chatting to her

in my defence i thought i was driving a bus...further down the road i did actually pull up at a bus stop when someone put their hand out for the bus behind me

according to the ticket they watched it for 15 minutes before issuing the ticket
