Default german engineering...............pah

this is taken from another forum i use and it shows its not just pug that have reliability issues............................................ .

Our 2006 Passat 140 Tdi 140 Sport is now the most unreliable car we have ever owned , it is now sitting on the drive with a dead engine ( 58k miles )and most likely due to failed injector/s ( I have the benefit of my sons VAG daignostic software)
Web research shows the cost as being north of £1500 to fix , although VW are reputed to being offering up to 70% assistance on cars with FSH .
This failure was on the outside lane of the M25 with my wife at the wheel , she managed to make the hard shoulder without incident , not a happy woman !!

Time to have serious thoughts about if we keep the car , problem is, as a car we like it

i got offered a 2.0 ltr golf gti (brand new) would of nabbed it if the insurance would of insured me.

the place where i got my car claims hands down that the ford engine is more superior to the passats.

i quite like the audi's but i dont like the fact that soon as you get in passenger or driver you become a massive cock!

aii consistantly on the a1 near durham is a few audi drivers who think they are god gift to the motoring world so will want to be in my back seat...that close and when they pass they act hard to you by shaking their head or giving you the finger and other hand gesture...well safe to say they are not! i always offer them for us to pull over and sort it out...not one does, they always hide behind their steering wheel

Audi drivers should get over themselves....BMW's are far far far far far far better. hell even other cars not in that range such as a few peugeots, my focus (can keep up with them, that scares them more).

total tits...thats my rant now to get my mate les on the a169 with a speed laser gun to catch these tits.

That's what's good about the Volvo! No one realises how quick it actually is! Come on the Audi boy, do keep up!
