Gearshift failure light comes on.

Problem being experienced - Gear shift failure comes up when transmission is cold or car transmission has not been allowed to
warm up enough before moving off. The problem seems to be getting worse as time goes by and I
am thinking of changing the transmission fluid to see if that would help. I had done that late last
year at the Peugoet dealership as they recommended transmission oil but ths time I am going
to use another brand.

Has anyone had this problem?
