Gearbox replacement

Hi I need to get a used gearbox for my 2001 1.4cc Peugeot 306, I have been looking around on the usual auction site and some are listed as fitting 106, 206,& 306.

I have rang my local breaker who does not have a 306 one, I asked him the question about other gearbox's possibly fitting and he said that the engines were the same but he was not sure about the gearbox's

So I have come to the experts to ask the question.

Will a 1.4cc, 106 or 206 be the same as the one in my 306?
