Fuel filter 307 hdi 2007

Hi, after some advice i brought a new fuel filter for car got to the filter and it seems to be the wrong one there is no plug in for the fuel censor, took it back to garage and this is the only filter showing for car everywhere i've been the filters are all the same does this mean they must split or somthing anyone else had this problem i'm a bit stuck. thanks

does that part not transfer from the old filter , clips off?
