Default fookin peugeot dealers

got my car back from peugeot dealers after it had been fixed...went home parked it outside my house and noticed a scratch on the drivers door strip..about 6 inches long..part of it is deep...rang them and told them..they said i drove the car off their premises without inspecting it..when i went to get the car bloke said it had been fixedm heres the keys and its parked up in bay 21...anyway...after another phone call, they said bring it back and they will buff it up, assuming it was just a surface scratch...they had a look and said it was too deep and to go and buy some touch up paint and cover it up...anyway got a letter from them today asking for feedback regarding my recent busuiness with them..im gonna tell them exactly what i think...also gonna get in touch with peuheot head qaurters.....and see what they say...rant over..

Trust me, the Peugeot Motor Company won't give a shit. They're not involved in any way.

While I don't doubt you're right, because you didn't notice the damage until after the vehicle had been removed from the site you got no way of proving your case. I always walk around my cars when dropping them off and collecting them, and even photo the odomoeter, ave fuel consumption readout and fuel gauge before taking the keys in, but fortunately Perrys MK have typically been excellent, with only Peugeot Motor Company themselves being twats every time I've brought a matter to their attention.

I hope you get satisfaction, but I'm not feeling confident for you bud. Good luck though.

You will get no satisfaction from Peugeot. I live in Portugal and had problems with the dealer Motorsá over late delivery and late documentation which caused me enormous problems and some expense. An appeal to Peugeot Portugal was a total waste of time. Their reply roughly translated was:

" Peugeot Portugal, as an importer of vehicles and the manufacturer's
representative only has responsibility with regard to product quality that
matters, in particular with respect to defective manufacture and assembly of
its products.
With respect to any other type of situations between Dealer and customer they are unrelated to Peugeot Portugal."

An email to Paris expressing surprise that Peugeot Portugal were not interested in how their appointed dealers behaved did not receive a reply
