Hello Guys and Gals - first post on here but one that hopefully some of you will interact with.
Im based at a PSA Dealership and doing some work on Customer Satisfaction for Peugeot UK. Basically I would like feedback from you guys to use as reference material so that Peugeot can grow, and also improve its service to you - our customers. I'm after both good and bad feedback (structured if possible, no rants without substance etc..) in relation to Dealership support, service, sales, customer satisfaction and the bottom line, has Peugeot's brand lived up to your expectation? I'm happy to hear both sides of the story, however, I will suggest that if you have specific issues being dealt within the network, do not ask me to look into / resolve / arrange as that is NOT what this is about... Also, if you are not comfortable in putting specifics online in public, PM me and I will respond.. Many thanks for taking the time to get involved ![]() PUK |

i have to say Simon Bailes Peugeot in Middlesbrough/stockton is pretty good in terms of parts and customer service but their servicing department needs looking at!
however back when i had my 307 (before i wrote it off) my car went for its MOT and the guy who did it, checked everything and said it was a very good pass...however within a week, i got the constant ABS issue that occurs on all peugeot models...to which leads to the point why hasnt peugeot issued a recall on this and sort it once and for all? i digress, anyways whilst at the said branch above they rang after 5 hours to say they sorted the issue BUT it needed a further £1500!!! worth of work....i clearly denied them to carry on. i paid them for the abs issue and collected the car. i went straight to the guy who carried out my MOT to double check their work and what they reported to me...he laughed and was utterly disguested...they lied about everything that was needed!!! my point is how many people have they had through and said you need such and such work, going to cost ££££'s when they dont need to! talk about RIP OF BRITAIN! Robins and Day in gateshead, well im not going to bother with those as they clearly not bothered about me or my vehicle (when i had my 307)...they even tried to fob me off with they need to connect the computer to diagnose the wheel locking nut... also in general, how can peugeot uk explain the cost for diagnostics for cars....£90!!! screw that i'll buy Peugeot Planet/lexia for that price and diagnose it myself and even make a few quid diagnosing other peoples peugeots and citroens....even FORD realise this and charge only £40! and if they detect a fault and carry out the work to fix it the diagnostics fee is waivered....something for you guys to think about at peugeot uk. if you feel that any of this is something you want to discuss or you want further details, please PM me or email me at john688heron@btinternet.com

Peugeot Sales
2 weeks ago i went into a peugeot dealers looking to order a new car 3008 i was with the sales man at his desk asking questions about the model when more customers came in which he must have known so he left me sitting at the desk with me twiddling my thumbs in the end i walked out went to a nissan dealer and ordered the qashqai oh and the salesman at nissan must have spent in all on my 2 visits 3hrs with me with no problems at all and my second visit was for a test drive on the new registration day which was very busy i was looking around the cars outside deciding what colour to have i never went in the showroom he came to me with the keys to the demo car for the test drive. Also parts department at peugeot why do they offer discount for parts because you use them for servicing ? If parts can be reduced in price it should be for all peugeot owners after all we bought your product and any savings should be past on to the loyal customer this forum has members that bend over backwards helping people who have lost all faith in peugeot trying to help them regain that faith i dont think we really need to post here on this thread as it only takes a couple of hours of your time just going through the threads on the forum for your answers to peugeots service in all areas.

Robins&Day Ecclesall road branch (Sheffield). Went in to order a new key for my car.
Waited while the parts guy was around the corner , 'f' ing and blinding about having to work on a Saturday and someone else didn't have to. 'She' was a bitch and is probably 'shagging' the manager came some response. As the bell wasnt working a rattled on the counter in the end to be 'greeted' by the most miserable looking sod iv'e ever had the misfortune to see. I told him that I needed a key and I had the key number and ability to recode it to which he laughed and said that they would need to recode it as only 'they' can. I gritted my teeth and asked for a price JUST for the key as I was certain I could recode it myself. He told me £105 to which I told him he was ripping me off , he replied that £25 was for the cutting code , I told him I had this and he reluctantly said '80 then , but if its wrong you will have to pay again' I left it as to be fair I was treat like an idiot / cash cow for the dealer. I worked in the motor trade for almost 20 years , last as an Insurance claims technical engineer and I must say that I had never come across such a lack of customer service and blatantly attempting to rip me off for more money. As an aside another poster on here said that his dealer would supply and cut the key for £69 , so which is the actual price that it should be??? The smaller Handsworth dealership a few miles away are actually much better at customer service so if I must I go there now.

Here is a start for peugeot everyone is so concerned about FAP systems DPF and it is now i think 1 of the main reasons why people are moving away from buying Diesel cars i think the first company to warranty there FAP/DPF for life of the car will gain major sales .
By warranty i mean repair the car for free. Car companys are being forced to go green but offloading the price of this on to customers is not the way forward Peugeot was the name for diesel engines you could not beat them but now with so many problems with FAP systems its killed the peugeot diesel Also the cost of eloys fluid is a joke you need diagnostics to fill your tank. Why dont they fit a warning light before a regeneration or when near or even better why not have a manual switch to regenerate so when your on motorway or good A road you can force a regeneration so easy . Another move forward would be to offer petrol cars with LPG system fitted .

Good: The service department at Peugeot on Edge Lane Liverpool. Always have the parts in stock and willing to print out diagrams and instructions for you.
Not so good: Peugeot in Heswall. Promise to order you parts and ring you but they never do. Very polite and happy to serve you though. General: Better support for longer term issues. DPF and that crappy display fault on the 407 radio. And cut the price or standarise the fault reading. £75 is a bit steep when we can buy the Planet tool for £81 from the far east.
