Default Fault Warnings

Hi, i have a 03 206 GTI and Unfortunatly i hit the curb with the front driver alloy, nothing major, but about 5 mins later i had a brake Fault flash in the info screen then abs fault then airbag fault. the dash was also flashing and the dials where goin a bit mad. it did cut out and wouldnt start. the next day it started fine no fault alerts or anthing so i took it for a spin 10 mins in the car started donig the same and kept trying to cut out. i managed to get it home.
ill have to take it to a garage but i thought someone may of had this problem it seems mad that a little dink would cause so much problems, Any ideas what this could be. many thanks

I `ve heard the speed sensor can through up things like that , wonder what your garage will say (let them diagnose first)

its a common problem in my car as soon as anything goes wrong all the lights just start flashing so i wouldnt worry to much like its just because everything is controlled by the same computer and it has been confused so it just panics when one thing doesnt work, mine did it when a throtle sensor went, you can only get the garage to fault check it and clear them and it might stop i have a mate that does it for me and i hardly ever have to fix anything!!!
