engine code 2.0 hdi xsi 136 bhp

Hi people , i have a 04 307 hdi xsi and the engine has given up on me.
i have seen engines for sale but they are 2.0 hdi 110 bhp engines,
are theses the same as the 136 bhp engines and will they fit !
also i have been told i will need a new ecu , is this correct , dont know why the ecu needs replacing as there was nothing wrong with it before.
any advice would be appreciated as to how much the total bill is likely to be as i dont know what to expect.

Not sure about the 110 and 136 some of the other guys may know this but i would have thought the engine ecu would be fine as long as you recode the new injectors to the car if i`m wrong someone jump in here.
