Default electrical fault

Hi there i have a peugeot 307 and ever since purchasing the car ive noticed the exterior lights front and back flash and the car climate control switches also flicker which is very visable on a night. There is no flashing what so ever on the audio display or the speedo dials etc so am totaly puzzled. I had the alternator checked and was told there is slight voltage play but not enough to cause any problems, I was advised to changed the control sticks on the steering wheel which i have but still the same fault exists.

Can anyone help with this matter?

hello hull guy, this may not have any connection with your problem but my brother owns a land rover and had the same problem with light flicker, and he found it to be a bad earth corroded from the body of the car,he replaced the earth wire and it solved the problem.ok

use a tool like lexia-3 can help you read out the problem code, then it can clear it.
then everything will be ok.
you can go to esobd2.com to have a look about this tool.

Sounds like earth problems. Or the Bm34 fuse box in the engine bay.
IT needs to be checked out.
