ECU Replacements

Hello folks,

I've got a Peugeot 406 (2000 reg) with 1761cc XU7JP4 engine in it, when replacing the engine management ECU (the one that does the ignition), is it possible to get a replacement from any Peugeot/Citroen with the same engine, put the VIN code to it using Peugeot Planet then it should work? Or is there anything else that needs to be done?

Hi

If you are replacing ecu with new.
Yes you will need planet and you will have to configure ecu with your vin and all items fitted to your model.
You will also need to put new transponders in your keys and reprogram.
