Angry Economy Mode Madness

I am in Sydney Australia and have just taken delivery of my first Peugeot, a 3008. I joined the forum because I am appalled at the RIDICULOUS Economy Mode that shuts down the radio after 30 minutes and to reactivate,
I MUST RUN THE ENGINE FOR 10 MINUTES. UNBELIEVABLE.
I am not very computer savy and dont know how to get to the right Forum to get as many other owners to help me in mounting a campaign against Peugeot. I like the car very much but will not be able to tolerate the ridiculous EM for very long.

Please HELP ME!

Go to your local dealer and ask him to deactivate it , would think around £15-£20.

you can get it switched off using planet...if you wish...but it helps in long run as it stops your battery being depleted.

planet is a dealership tool that works on peugeot and citroens, it can activate and deactivate alsorts of things aswell as diagnose problems that other garages cant...that ebay one, is a clone device but works all the same.

as from the dealer saying it is not possible, well it can, i found it on my software searches using planet...and so have a lot of other people, you just have to explain that to them.

being a new car, engine idle wont really touch the fuel probs ML's of fuel...
