Default Dealers in the North East?

Now then.

Does anybody know of any places that sell decent cars at decent prices? Or are generous when you take a trade in?

basically I have to sell my car privately (cos I'll get nowt off dealers for Cat C) and I also will have to get rid of the gammy little Punto I have as a run around. I'd probably part ex the Punto providing I get over £500 for it. But I don't want to pay the ridiculous prices that dealers have.

Just wondering if there are private sale prices at a dealers in the NE.

Mainly aimed at Trem/John here

I got 3 points and now I have a "claim" even though it was the other party's fault.

that's annoying - "state claims regardless of fault" - Get bent you con artists!

Aye so it would technically shoot up, however, with 4 years no claims I might benefit from checking other insurance companies (plus I'll be 21 which apparently is good for insurance).

But swift is real cheap. The highest quote I have seen from them is £1080. You don't get anything except from insurance, but it's cheap enough.

They all want to know about claims, regardless of fault, not just Swift. Most don't penalise you though if it wasn't your fault, i.e. costs were recovered.

25 is the best milestone to hit for insurance.... I could't believe what a difference it made overnight My insurance was up for renewal a month before my 25th, so renewed, turned 25, cancelled and took out a new policy with them... saves loads
