My Girlfriend has a 206 1.4 sport and has been having problems with her lights.
She cant get side lights only main beam and when the main beam is on the indicators work whenever they feel like it. sometimes the horn wont work either? We have been told it could be the coms unit but how can we find this out ? Also looking at prices and fitting it can cost around 300 pounds and have to be fitted by a professional Mechanic due to the Airbag , is there another option ? |

Sounds like it maybe the comms2000.But i would advise getting it hooked up to pp2000 diagnostics that way the unit can be read and actuator tests can be carried out, this should show whether the fault is with the unit or in the electrical circuits.
Put your location and search the planet peugeot maps for members with pp2000 near you.

I am sure there will be a forum member near you with pp2000 who will be able to conduct the same tests as the dealer for a lot less money.

I bet you its the light stalk itself , seen this before on a 206 , we had one before that we took the stalk apart and fixed it but you have to be ready to buy a comm unit if you screw it up ,
anyway you pop of the end of the light stalk and reseat the ring inside ![]() But get your diagnostics done first to be sure . |
