Hello all,
I have a 2003 model Peugeot 307 1.6 with Petrol. I am guessing that I need to replace or have it replaced the clutch and flywheel soon. Could you please guide me if it is a DIY job? Most of the time, I am willing to solve the problems by myself and I have done some small thing so far(oil, oil filter, spark plugs ...). Do you think that I can manage it? Can you also tell me if there is any difference between petrol and diesel car's flywheel and clutch because mostly I can find some guides for diesel cars? Symtoms that I have being experiencing: 1. I heard little noise like belt noise but just once. It disappeared after couple of secs. 2. When I slightly press the clutch, I can feel a bit of grinding without audible noise. It seems to me like something periodically touching a surface. 3. When the car starts pulling, there is a very small amount of vibration.
