Default Changing spark plugs on 406 HDI 16 engine

Tried to change spark plugs but original ones dont seem to have a hexagonal head.Is there a special tool to remove them?Or do the sleeves around HT leads slide out?20 mm clearance with sleeves in.Please help.Due MOT now.

I'm confused. HDI's or any other diesel don't have spark plugs.
