Default Changing keyblade????????

Anyone know how to remove and replace the key blade on a 407 keyfob??

Open up the fob, and then you need to 'tap' out the very small pin in the base of the key blade. It will then slide out (may need a little persuasion). On re-fitting, again it will be stiff, and may benefit from a little filing off first to help it slip back in. Then put the pin back in, and jobs a good 'un

It should work.... bought a new fob for mine and transferred the blade across

Soldering.... what are you soldering?
Did you not buy a new fob to transfer the inners to?

Bet hes got new micro switches. I need some too but one look at the tiny contacts and shied away. I'M told to resolder the old ones before de-soldering them to avoid pulling the soldering points off the pcb. Thats from our Mike who's a laptop engineer. Even so you would need a steady hand.
