Default Camera advice needed

I'm after some advice about a camera and know some people on here know loads more than me,
Anyhow up till now ive had a couple of 'point and shoot' digital camera's but now fancy a slightly better one, but really have no idea about whats good value and more important whats NOT good value.
we were in asda the other day and this
GE X5 14.1Megapixel Digital Camera | Point & Shoot | ASDA direct
looked like a reasonable camera for under a £100 which i dont want to pay any more than.
I dont want/intend to get into photography in a big way at all, just take some reasonable pictures so whats your thougts on these,
all advice greatfully appreciated
Neil
