My daughters 307 has an intermitant starting fault, Most times starts then just a click, and she and the baby have to walk. go to recove and it starts.
Any idaeas. No drawing, is there a relay or just the solinoid off the ignition switch.

I think the 307 is ignition straight to starter , is the starter getting power at every turn?

The starter is operated by the engine bay fusebox via low current ignition switch.
Wire no. 100 coming out of the white connector goes straight to the starter. Check to see if there is 12v at this wire on cranking or trying to crank. If there is and there is no cranking then you need a starter.

Thanks I will test that Tomorrow, If there is no voltage is there a relay I can hear clickings.
If I have to change the starter I can see 2 bolts but not a third , and the connections to it are not in sight , is it are much of a night mare as it looks to change

There is a stud on the top of the gearbox too as well as the two that you see/feel.
I'll be pretty sure you'll have 12v at the wire.
Its most likely the starter.
