Boxer key code light on

Hi I am a new member. I have a problem with a T reg boxer motor home with the key code light staying on. The immobilizer can be activated or deactivated by using the key fob and the exterior flashers flash when doing so. The central locking does not lock or unlock any of the doors by using the key fob.I am not sure at this stage if it has central locking, or it just don't work.When the immobilizer is activated the starter dont work when turning the key, as it should.When the immobilizer is deactivated the starter works and engine starts with no problems, but the key code light stays on. I am not sure if this is the early stages of a more serious problem, or if its connected to the fact that the central lockings not working, or perhaps it may need a re-sync, if so how. Thanks Bri.
