Bonnet Release Latch

Hi guys, Ive just bought a peugeot 307. Loving it, but i never got a handbook and i need to change a headlight bulb, but for the life of me i cant find the catch to open the bonnet. Ive checked both footwells and Im stumped and a bit embarrased that im needing to ask this on the internet !!!

u looked from inside the hood, its deep screwholes
