Lightbulb Beginners Project Car

hey folks, was just asking for your personal opinions on this.

What would be the perfect beginners project car, what i mean is a very cheap car that requires a bit of work to get it decent etc and to possibly keep or sell on.

I am more techy then mechy but can do the usual stuff of a full service...but would like to learn how to do the rest...inc clutches, timing belts etc. just like to know what people recommend as a car to start on....

yeah true, i was thinking of spending a few hundred on the car, maybe spend a few hundred getting it up to scratch then making a few on profit...what is the car market like nowadays for this?
