Default Automatic gearbox 307 ( need help )

Hallo there

got an 307 2,0 petrol automatic 2002
I need to change the automatic gearbox. and I have a new one. The problem is that it has a different number. The old box number is 20TP46 new one 20TS01 would it be possible to fit the new one in my car.

As far as I can see the new box is ment to fit the exactly same car and engine but with electric throttle insted

Is it possible to move some parts from the old transmission and re code it.

Please help ....

To find out if gearboxes are the same i'd need chassis numbers of your car and the car the secondhand box came out of.

ok

I dont know the chassis number of the second hand car. But the second hand gearbox number is 20TS01 and my box is 20TP46
My pug win number is vf33arfne82282718

The second hand gerbox is taken from a car like mine ( same year and engine 138 bhp 16v RFN ) but with motorised throttle body insted. Mine has a manual throttle body.

Reckon thats what you'll have to do. Id say the mechanical parts are all the same. But none sure without checking part numbers.
