Anti pollution sytem fault

407 sw sport 2.2 hdi . Experiencing system fault at regular periods. Puts car in economy mode. System fault has been reset on 3 occasions and fault seems to point towards a fuel problem but not exactly sure what. Could be pump, injectors, wiring. Been advised that rather than pay another 65 pound for diagnostic problem that i start by changing fuel filter and draining system in case of blockage. Has anyone else experienced similar problems? If so how did you resolve. Car is less than 4 years old and has mileage of 41,000

second you say the faults were reset but do you know what the codes were it'll mean lots to some people on here, and third if you put your location in your profile someone may be very close to you with peugeot planet (diagnostics) who could possibly help.

Hi, Thanks for reply! I don't have codes as yet but will go back and get diagnostics to pick up codes again. I live at Rotherham, South Yorkshire. It's a lovely car but is driving me insane at the moment. will put pics on when its washed and lookin shiny again. Had 306 meridian prior to this one and never had any problems, hence buying peugeot again
