Hi. This is my first post and I'm desperate. I have a 2 year old 207. I must confess I can't recall seeing the alloy wheel key since my last service. I have never picked it up. I got a flat tyre on Saturday and can't find the key. I've looked everywhere. I phoned Peugeot assist who said the rac had a tool but they said this Is wrong. My dealership in Salford have said the code to order a new key Is on the old key and accused me of lying. They said inneed to get 4 new alloy wheels at the cost of £1200 plus new tyres. This doesn't seem right. The manager wont return my calls
There must be a way of getting a new tool, surely? Help. There is no way I can afford 1.5k because the garage lost the tool. I'm already paying out for a hire car as it's that or lose my job |

Pump the wheel up and take it to a tyre place. They'll get it off some how! There's a locking wheel nut removal tool in halfords, but I've never tried it and hear varied reports or another member recently reported that he welded another bolt on and got his out that way. Good luck!
Oh, and once you get them out, keep them out!!!

Didn't you get two keys?? Without stating the obvious, I take it you have thoroughly checked the boot to make sure there isn't a second key in there somewhere... I've always had 2 keys with my cars.

The cars been taken apart. I was only given one key. I can't recall ever laying hands on it, though. They said they moved it to my glovebox at the service but that definitely didn't happen.
Another dealership is quoting me £220 for new tyre plus changing all the wheel nuts. The original dealership hasn't returned my calls and has lost all my future business |
