Default 607 2.2HDi Auto won't Change up!

I Have A problem with my 2005 607 HDI 2.2 Auto, in that it keeps getting stuck in both 2nd and 3rd Gear and will not change up.
To get it to change up I either have to select tiptronic which works every time, or keep my foot hard down on the accelerator pedal until the car gets to its maximum revs then changes up.
Has anyone got any idea what is wrong with it.
Many Thanks
Dave.

Ok. thats the usual problem. Tyres of different size mess with the ESP system ans the gearbox doesn't change up.
I'd reckon get a diagnostic check done on the gearbox ecu. Post up fualts here.

Smile What a brilliant Engineer!

Hi
Based on your comments about tire size, I decided to check the tires again and found the nsr to be 1bar low on pressure.
I pumped it up to 3.2 bar to match the osr and now the gear box is fine changing up in all the right places.
I believe you are a genius!
Many Many Thanks
Dave.
