406 hdi 2002 losing power

Help! 406 HDI 2.0 (2002) high mileage (185k) loses power at low revs, very rough tick over especially in traffic, feels like a fuel issue engine misfires buts its an intermitment fault. Is it a common fault?

Probably best to get it hooked up to someone with Planet and read off any fault codes that may be present. Post a location, for starters, and then check the map of members with the software (it can be found on the signature of any of Bettyswollocks posts)
