406 hdi 1999 110bhp air intake prob?

help, have just bought the above, drove great around town when i tried it. pushed it a little on the way home, went flat at 80 ish didnt lose power but didnt gain again even after dropping a gear, like it was restricted, bro has 306 hdi said possible air pressure regulator, went on his, i am a girl(which means i know very little about cars), new to peugeots bit miffed right now, any ideas appreciated don't think car has been loved for a while ie service? thanks

Get a diagnostic check done. post the faults up here, we should be able to help you.

thank you for speedy reply, will do asap, in the mean time bro suggested if part was the same to put his air regulator on mine to see if it stops problem?
