406 hdi 110hp cutting out

Hello ive posted this up as its my cars trouble its cutting out every so often it was code read showing accellerator pedal jammed? i could only assumed potentiometer fault so changed it as i had a spare from a mates garage off a engine he bought for the cylinder head & was going to scrap so i had all good parts off it turbo high pressure pump ect.
other fault was rail pressure code p1112 common fault on hdi ive been told so we removed codes but the car has cut out alot more times and ive removed the same code p1112 until i asked a peugeot technition who said i should leave codes and get it pluged in to a pps system which would determine the fault
So ive bought a pps kit with interface and can not get it to activate so unabl;e to use it so even more frustrated
Anybody live in lincolnshire with a pps that works? iam near Boston just a thought as if your system works you might beable to help determine what iam doing wronge with mine
