Default car prob

the car has went into limp mode, it will reset itself after you start it a few times, you need to find out fault codes. suggest you take it back to garage, let them sort it out.

Did you follow the correct procedure for disconnecting and reconnecting the battery??

If so, take it back to the dealer and get them to fix it :nod;

yes the car was off for a good 10 minutes without touching anything before disconnecting the battery

Though the Battery that came off was Dead Dead I have to wonder if this could have corrupted the unit as there was enough power to turn on the ignition but when attempting to turn the starter it just went dead and the clock would reset, theoreticley causing the electrics to go off and on without going in to sleep mode !

though once the new battery was on all seemed fine for about 20 minutes 6 miles, during 2 journeys, lol it did go wrong going to the Peugeot garage though

does anyone know anyway to remove the error without going back to Peugeot

You could try looking for someone close to you who has Peugeot Planet who can do the same diagnostic that Peugeot would - have a look at the map under the Maintenance section.
