Default 308 auto close windows

Hi

A friend of mine has just bought a 308 estate, 3 years old, in which they transport their four dogs. They want to leave the windows down a few inches when they have to leave one or more dogs in the car for a short time. But the windows automaticaly close. Is there a way of preventing auto close?

Thank you, Paul

Press button only half way down. Pressing it down fully makes it power down/up automatically.

With my 407, to auto-close the windows you need to hold down the lock button for a short time for the windows to auto-close, a quick press and the doors lock with windows as they are left.

Thats called total closure. This will work on 308 also depending on spec.

So what is the difference between the auto-close of windows on the 308, and the total-closure I've described above on my 407??

Auto one touch close/open. Pull up/down on button fully once is auto close/open.
Total closure is a long press on the lock button to close all windows when locking the car.
