Default 308 airbag removal

Hi, im not sure if i have posted this in the right place, i did try to send a private message to john h to ask him but denied the request as i have not posted 20 times.

i need to remove the airbag from a 2010 peugeot 308 1.6 vti sport petrol.

having removed various airbags in the past i thought it would be a simple proceedure however i cant find any holes on the rear of the steering wheel that would release the airbag unit, have you a photo or diagram that may give me a better idea or can you give me some simple instructions please. i have searched and searched the net with no joy .
cheers

regards Tim

Why the hell would you want to mess around with the airbag on a 2010 car ???? its still under warranty !!!!!Or it would be unless Peugeot find you have been effing about with it . Good way to Invalidate warranty & get yourself killed at the same time .

Thanks for explanation Tim!! But I get a bit stroppy on safety related items . The previous repair was obviously botched as the last guy had no idea how to get at the air bag . Pity you dont know a local . friendly Peugeot technician. However some one more savvy than me may be a long to help...good luck !!!
